Hidden Gems offers you a unique community singing experience at fascinating and unusual venues in cities around Europe and the UK.
​Our inspiring vocal coaches, Jeremy Avis and Rebecca Askew met singing in the award winning vocal supergroup “The Shout”, which performed site-specific music in extraordinary venues around the world. As Hidden Gems, Rebecca and Jeremy decided to bring this experience to others. They scout out unusual places to sing and devise a whole weekend’s programme of music to bring these locations to life.​​​

All songs are taught by ear, so you don't have to be able to read music or have any previous experience.
The repertoire is always fun and challenging at times. It includes both contemporary and traditional pieces that might range from Pearl Jam to the Pearl Fishers, as well as original compositions by our two talented tutors.

Always included in a Hidden Gems experience, is a tour led by a local expert, specially designed for our group. In Brussels, the renowned author of The 500 Hidden Secrets of Brussels, Derek Blyth, provides his unique take on the city he loves.
